Dana CAN absolutely do something. And its not Dana, its Marc Ratner who is hired by Dana White.

The AC comes to the UFC and says "these are our officials that we have assigned to work your event here"

UFC can actually tell the AC that they are bringing their own to work the event also. I think the UFC is allowed to control the spot of 1 judge and 1 ref at minimum.

Would only really be unethical if he was trying to influence who the judges were that showed up for events.

The way it's currently being handled complaining after events doesn't really work. They need to be hounding on the AC's to get the judges properly trained and reviewed throughout the year. The AC's also need to be opening up their methods more publicly they need to start by showing that judges who screw up are being dealt with accordingly.

Another thing too is that Keith Kizer should have ULTIMATE say on who works an event and the fact that he continues to employ Cecil Peoples is BEYOND me.

I've seen ACs pull judges off tables after fights for looking away from a fight for a split second during a fight. The NSAC isn't the most competent but they are the most prestigious.

    I think I may apply.

the truth is that Marc Ratner has input on who the AC puts on their shows. So if Dana thinks Cecil Peoples really sucks, they can tell the AC to keep him off and they will.

My guess is that Cecil Peoples is blowing Marc Ratner or Peoples must have pictures of Dana or one of the Fertitas with naked underage boys that hes holding over their head.

This is pretty fuct up that this problem isn't fixed. Another thing too...Peoples has seniority and since he does, he doesn't believe that he needs to re-train or sharpen his judging skills by taking an acclaimed course like COMMAND or even any ABC Certified judging courses.

Dana White is the guy crying after the events how it is the Commission's fault.

A commission can be lobbied. Don't you think boxing promoters lobby for rule changes? You think that has never ever happened?

    Come on now.

How about the dummies that scored 30-27 for Myles Jurie where obviously the first and probably the 3rd round were clears 10-8?

Dana (Zuffa really) are the biggest name in MMA with the most pull and thus should have input and sway with the athletic commissions. They certainly have the ability to influence the commissions by deciding where they hold their events. I'm sure many states would put pressure on athletic commissions to improve if they lost revenue from events not being held there.

Not saying the onus is merely on Zuffa to be the only one to fix things but they can certainly play a bigger part in it then they currently do.
