I say Rampage. Not only did he beat Liddell for the LHT he then beat Hendo in the first Pride vs UFC champion fight. At the same time launching himself into stardom here in the U.S.

You can't say anything negative about Marquardt or Rich, they were both legit contenders.

My vote is for Rampage. He beat two of the all time greats in back to back fights. A. Silva is a close second for his dominating performances. Randy goes to 3rd with wins over Big Tim and Napao.

Rampage! just cuz he TKO'd Chuck lol. But in all reality i think he takes it because he be beat down Chuck who was on a 7 fight KO run and beat Hendo for the first Unification belt. thats History IMHO.

I would even go as far as ranking Randy above Rampage for the year. Fitch also had a hell of a year. Florian had a hell of a year. However, I think I would still go with Silva. | lol, i think i sense a little Silva bias. Considering u forgot to mention Silva already beat Rich as well.

Rampage definitely, came to the UFC guns blazing knocking out Eastman, than in arguebly one of the biggest fights ever, he KO-TKO'd Chuck and then put up one hell of a fight with Hendo, 3 immpresive wins....3-0 in the UFC, makes him the fighter of the year in my books

It's Rampage imo. He made his successful UFC debut then defeated Liddell who had been a dominate LHW Champion then defeated Henderson in the first ever UFC vs Pride champion match.
