All good choices but i'll have to go w/ Anderson Silva. he's pretty much dominated everyone.
you should make this type of thread a poll next time. if you scroll all the way to the bottom of the options after you click "new topic" you can create it. just a thought.

I have to go with Randy. Most people thought he would loose to Tim and alot of people thought GG would beat him. Randy dominated them both at 44 years of age. I give Rampage a close 2nd. He KOed the poster boy Chuck Lidell and beat a very under rated Dan Henderson.

My vote would go to Rampage. He has just improved so much and look who he has beaten, Chuck Liddell, a future hall of famer and Dan Henderson who is a top 5 LHW and MW. Don't get me wrong, Anderson is a sick fighter but I don't think he has beaten the competition that Rampage has. Rich Franklin is a great fighter but his style is perfect for Anderson.

Well, to compare:
Rampage: Beat Eastman. 1 title defense vs. a game, yet undersized, challenger(Hendo). 1 victory over a guy who he had already defeated (Chuck).
Silva: Beat a hands down top contender (Marquardt). Beat an overweight, yet game Travis Lutter. Beat the dogshit out of a highly touted and respected Franklin.
I would even go as far as ranking Randy above Rampage for the year. Fitch also had a hell of a year. Florian had a hell of a year. However, I think I would still go with Silva.

Id have to give it to A.Silva due to how dominant he has been this year.Rampage gets my vote for most improved though. He came out of a pretty big slump now hes the man to beat in the LHW division.

I agree, Rampage defeated 2 MMA Hall of Fame fighters.
No man has defeated both Liddell and and Hendo.
