can people not read i said p4p is the fighters skills and fight history from ALL weight classes. damn. everybody keeps saying make the HW smaller and they get their ass kick. ok well make the LW bigger then they get smached by HW power. i thought this was a site for mma fans that knew the meanings of terms. my top ten list is a little fucked up and i said it was but p4p is just a poll for all fighters based on skill level and fight history to be compared to all fighters no matter what weight they are. its the same as boxing and football. its like saying a free safty is p4p better then a right end. and that stuff is said all the time on espn.
bob sanders from the colts is said to be p4p the best player in football but compared to what you guys saying he cant hack it playing center or fullback. duh.

that is the most ridiculous shit i have ever heard. how could u even use pound for pound in football or for that case most other sports wen there is no weight limits or classes to even need to argue that point. were not comparing a pitcher with a short stop if that wat ur implying... were comparing mma fighters with mma fighters if u wanted to compare just one aspect of the game you should have named the post... best pound for pound striker ect... even then u might not even understand what p4p means and say all heavy weights could beat the light weights... i wouldnt put it past u.

You can't make a p4p ranking and then make up your own rule as to what p4p is. People tried to explain to you what a p4p ranking was and all you really did was change the fighters that they used to show that your idea of p4p was not consistent with how it is always used.

Plus your rankings don't even match your own rules. If we aren't goignt to include Pride fights in our considerations (as per post #7 in this thread) then how can Big Nog be on there he has one win in the UFC and it is over Herring? If we are only looking at recent fights GSP just lost to a guy smaller than himself (who isn't even good enough to make the list). Wandy has had zero recent fights in the UFC. etc.

You seem to have some MMA knowledge. So stick around but you are wrong on this one.
