Worst Heavyweight in the UFC

okay i would have made a poll however there a several possibities here.

Justin McCully - he beat hardonk this year, however he is boring as hell but i dont know if hardonk could beat him in a rematch. McCully might have a fight with Kongo the future.

Antoni Hardonk- 0-2 this year lost to Mir and McCully

Brad Imes- i know he has two gogo wins however would he beat the other lower comp in the ufc is the question?

Colin Robinson - lost to Sanchez this year, and i have to admit i know very little about him, UFC 80 he and Hardonk will go to war?

Christian Wellisch- was suppose to take on McCully however got Scott Junk instead and beat him, however Junk needed knee surgery shortly after so that might have something to do with the victory.

Scott Junk- read above.

Honerable mention who imo could beat all of these guys or most of them:
Eddie Sanchez beat Robinson, UFC 79 faces Soa Palelei on the main card.
Asseurio Silva lost to Kongo but has faced much better comp than most of the above.

I limited this to just the hevayweights that have fought under the UFC in 2007.

ill say justin mcully, even tho he beat hardonk.

hardonk at least has very good striking. as where mcully has very good nothing. hes has crappy standup, crappy submissions, crappy ground and pound, and hes lucky he got the only guy at hw he can actually take down.

maybe i just dont like him for some reason lol

welllisch aint that terrible he shuld be added to that list, i think hes an allright fighter who just needs to fine tune his skills and like allistair, he just duznt seem to be able to seal the deal. Hes better than hardonk thats for sure

I still have to say Hardonk considering he lost to McCully.

Plus I wanted to see if my av/sig additions worked or not...

Thats a little harsh isn't it? He was barely a beginner when he hit TuF and was then thrown into some nasty UFC fights against people with double the number of fights he had under his belt. He's then gone and surprised everybody with emphatic and surprising wins over at least "decent" opponents if not UFC standard. Give him a little time and I reckon he'll be a good mid level HW with some potential to push on.

Dude, the worst heavyweight wouldn't even know what a gogoplata is. Secondly Imes isn't fighting in the UFC. So why the hell he is on your list is beyond me.

kylewyzle2005 12-21-2007 06:05 AM

randy couture for sure the worst..... GUYS IM JUST KIDDING! man, id say hardonk

McCully win over Hardonk wasn't really impressive at all. He just laid on him for 15 minutes. I can't think of a single time where McCully was about to finish him either by sub or gnp.

It was tedious to watch.

i would say hardonk is the worst, and if your talking about the most boring to watch then o'brian gets that one

No chance is Imes a bad heavyweight anywhere. His fight with Herring this year was great(for being a guy that hasnt even beein in MMA for 5 years) and look at him after Herring,2 RNC wins,2 Gogos, and a TKO all 1st round finishes.

If your looking at lackluster heavyweights in 2007 under UFC,Mccully,O Brien, & Hardonk.
