I started training at a United Studios of Self Defense dojo in Skokie, IL last September. I am curious if anyone else has trained at a USSD school and would like to share their experience. I'm contemplating becoming an instructor at the school and would greatly appreciate any feedback about the way the business is run or any relevant concerns. The style they teach is Shaolin Kempo, which is a mixture of karate, kung fu, and ju jitsu.

i've trained at a Kenpo gym in the chicago area and i've actually heard of the place you are talking about. i'm not sure as to how the business is run but i hear the school is getting pretty big. If you decide to train there, keep me posted as to how it is going. i'm always looking for other gyms to learn about.

He is training in kempo and you are training kenpo. Is there a diff. or is it just a typo.

yes there is a difference, my fault, its kind of hard too notice that you arent being an asshole tho.
