The title of this refers to the bible and the thoughts of the netherworld. I would like to modernize the word so to speak. As from the bible Adam and Eve is the first story we read about in any bible. People usually have ideas on what it should say about temptations and so on. I would like to say that the first story is a contradiction. What I mean by that is you have God, man, woman, and beast. The beast is in the tree the people or society is on the ground and God is of course up above. In this story the beast plays as above, since in the tree, and tempts the people down below. The temptation is a sense like the people's five senses. The beast in this story has the sense of God since it is in the tree and above the people. So when God is nowhere near, the people and the beast interact just based on below and above (the contradiction). There is no way to deny the beast is not right since it does have the sense of God just based on being above in the tree. The tree has apples and the apples are above the people so the apples also have a sense of God. So the beast substitutes his godly sense for the sense of the apple since the beast is in the tree, and the people substitute the word of God for the word of beast. And when this happens as the story is followed God does not allow people in the garden any longer, only the beast and the apples. Another way to sense this would be to say that it is better to be in a tree where the apples grow than to be on the ground and reaching where the apples are (are here implies whether on the tree or on the ground). Now you get to understand the parallel nature of direction in the story.
