As long as we're not flaming the fighters I don't see why it's considered fighter bashing to ask who are the biggest douche bags in MMA, nor do I see why it's wrong to say what one really thinks even if it is fighter bashing but I understand the rules are there for a reason (so we don't look like sherdog) and I still don't feel like I violated them. You know how many people have called gabe a douche bag and haven't got in even a little bit of trouble?

Edit: this is almost as bad as the time Gogo's thread got closed and he was made an inmate for askin which fighter do you think you could beat. The guys been training for what a decade!?

It's probably easier to let it go because it seems like they pick an choose things. I don't agree with many things they do anymore and lately have just keep to myself but the last few days their have been a few questionable things said or done that have made me want to speak out.

I applaud them for trying to make this place better i really do because i know what it takes to help control this place. But the thing is they imo are going beyond that and trying to boss us around and control everything we do.

I say that because i have seen some questionable threads kept when some that did nothing wrong were closed or deleted.

And if that is true about Gogo that is bullshit and the members need to speak up about that kind of stuff. If that is the real reason he was made a inmate for then like i said who ever did it needs to be fired or kicked out from in charge.

I still love this place, but to many changes at once actually hurt this place more then it helps.

I understand that members really have no say but what everyone needs to remember with no members their is no forum.

Melvin is a bad face for MMA. The guy is a cheat. He has been caught cheating in the past, now he failed his drug test, he is just bad all around.

He is wanna be thug but more like a aggressive poodle with no teeth, all bark an no bite.

I think if your gonna talk bad about a fighter, you need to give reasons, like I did.

I did I said Barnett, Royce, Sherk and Baroni cause they use roids and Leben,Tito and Baroni cause they talk too much trash.

I dont really "hate" anybody in MMA. I usually just hate the guy who my fave fighters are fighting. Even that only lasts for the build-up, and fight, then its over with, unless my guy loses lol. Matt Hughes comes closest maybe, but that's probably only because Im a huge GSP fan. Still dont really think hes a DB tho, he was gracious in defeat and admitted GSP is the better fighter. Gotta respect him for that, and Ill still probably root for him against a lot of fighters. Good points about Melvin tho, although I was sorta hypin myself over him, thinkin hed be like a little Mike Tyson. Huge disappointment

To tell you the truth I find most of the fighters to be pretty humble and cool after the fights. I realize talking trash before the fight is part of the game but the two above say and do some dumb shit after the fights.

See now, this is interesting and something I was talking to my good friend about who is also very knowledgeable about MMA. You say those fighters are douche bags (keep in mind I'm not defending them for getting caught) but if you probably want the honest truth, there are tons of fighters who are juicing...I guarantee it but they just don't get caught. There are ways around the tests and there are tons of fighters that exploit it I bet. The pressure to compete at that level is so high that they are almost forced to in some cases.

We were talking and he was telling me he was talking to one of his clients (he's a personal trainer) who is a natural bodybuilder and his client was explaining how it was about time to cycle off the roids before competition. I'm not saying this is going to be completely true in MMA, but honestly I'd keep an open mind about it.

You could also compare it to baseball, there are the few scapegoats that are called out and caught and thrown into trial or whatever when in actuality TONS of the players have used in their career I'd be willing to bet.
