| IMO - Feb 2nd Card is a waste of air time
So, I looked up Frank Mir's status, becuase I was quite curious about it. So it seems he this last 4 fights have been a push or pull kind of thing. He's won two and lost two. in his last few fights....
ANd then I looked up Lesnar, and it just gave a blurb of his last fight? I really dont even know what organization he's actually from.
NOW I don't know about anyone else BUT I really think this Feb 2nd card is going to be a waste of ppv air time. I think the other cards will be more interesting then the actual 2 main cards.
You have Lesnar, who's had ONE mma fight, which if anyone hasn't seen it its pretty garbage.. he used his wrestling maybe hit the guy a few times but for the majorty laid on him and the guy tapped from really just being under him.... H'es had 1 FIGHT just one, and he's ALREADY being put into a main event? I think its a waste of air space it reminds me of a wwe gimmick match, not becuase he's been in the wwe JUST becuase his last fight idn't mpress me and if it impressed anyone you must just be one of those people who watch fights on the weekends... and aren't actually in the sport. I give credit to all his wrestling, all his athletic ability (as was posted on ufc.com) but as far as does he deserve to be in a main event.. NO not in my opinion he doesn't.
THEN they have SYLVIA, okay granted some love him some hate him.. but for me i feel lke he can be a good fighter but he's not tehnically inclined at all. He's so sloppy and that s what randy pointed out. HELL in his last fight didn't he just press the gy up against hte cage and do nothing really? THEY put randy in there to spice up the division, they KNEW he woudl be sylvia... which woudl mean more money when a heavyweight card is announced. NO one wants to see sylvia one punch and stall in his fights, or press a gy up against the cae and do really NOTHING...
Like I said the under cards, and the fights before the main events are way more interesting then the actual main cards themself...

Please CHILL out its ACTUALLY a GOOD CARD in manys OPINION
Tim is a great fighter, love him or hate him, take shots at him all you want, hes still one of the best in the world, and could be the next world champ.Sloppy yeah, but he gets the job done.
Regardless this PPV will do fantastic buyrates.
* a huge world title match
* lesnars UFC debut vs Frank Mir which will move one man way up the ladder to a title shot
* Horn/Nate for serious MW Bidness. One of the winners ay very well get a shot in the future.
*Belcher/Almeida will be fun.
Plus the prelims are looking tastey. So ill be excited to see some of them badboys.
I dont give a fuck how sloppy tim is,or how many fights Brocks had. This show should be great.

Also, maybe they'll make Brock/Mir a Bullrope Match.

I like this card, it should show us how much Lesnar has actually been training for the sport, we get to see Nog win the HW title, plus Horn/Marquardt is a very solid fight. Quote:

Steel, I think I'd prefer a Russian Chain match instead, to go with the whole cage motif of the UFC. |

Is the OP a troll? I can't tell. It's pretty weird to dismiss Big Nog in an event.

Like I said the under cards, and the fights before the main events are way more interesting then the actual main cards themself... | In order for the ufc to grow even further and mma, than fights like this will have to take place. if Floyd Mayweather came over and fought someone, it'd be in the main event for sure.
Dana and the ufc is banking this fight card will draw good ratings because of Brock's status from the wwe. I think they are banking on him a little too much imo, because brock didn't draw that much for the wwe, however you are going to have some wwe fans watch, to see him. They are hoping they take even more wwe fans away from the wwe.
As far as, Sylvia vs Nog. I can also see it being a boring fight however, i am still VERY interested to see how this fight goes. Whether Tim is going to be allowed to push Nog up against the cage and keep him there and if it gets to the ground if Tim is going to be able to keep Nog from subbing him.
It will likely be boring however still has a title up for grabs, if Slyvia wins, we won't see AA in the ufc for long imo and see if Sylvia the boring Sylvia take Nog to a boring decision win, or if Nog can control his biggest most talented fighter at test yet. (yes has fought zulu and other huge guys but none as big as tim and as talented.)

I think this will be a decent card, how can you attack a big "nog" card?
