ya i saw some show on him before it came out and he was saying its not an fight movie its a movie about fighting and blah blah. BUt it wasnt just what the movie was about its was the acting, the handicaps and how the jiu jitsu was shown. There was one good flying armbar though.

Man, I hated the movie. There were so many plot holes and the ending made no sense at all. I understand that it wasn't a fighting movie, but it sure was marketed as one. What a waste of time and money that was.

I think all his movies have a similar style - and I think if you don't like that style and the way he structures the narrative then you won't like anything he's done. I'm not that familiar with him, but my girlfriend likes his work and wants to see this film. I tried to watch something he did with Steve Martin but I fell asleep.
