Andrei Arlovski will be holding a media day this Tuesday in Los Angeles to announce his plans for the future. Many are speculating that Arlovski will announce his departure from the UFC for either Affliction or Adrenaline MMA.

Arlovski will hold the media day at Wild Card Gym in Hollywood where he'll be working on his boxing and conditioning with Freddie Roach and Alex Ariza.

Our friends over at MMAPayout are speculating that Arlovski will announce that he's signed on with Affliction to face Ben Rothwell at the Affliction: "Banned" event set for July 19 in Anaheim, California.

Great News man! Please announce resignation and that he signed with Afflcition. That is the best possible case scenerio.

Great great news... I hope.

And CJ there is still some great talent in UFC HW division. You've still got the 2nd greatest HW to ever fight in MMA (Nog), Werdum, Vera, Gonzaga, Herring and Mir. It's still a respectable division but is no longer a great division like it was.

It's going to be years in the making for the UFC to get the HW division looking real good again because I think they are going to be banking on Lesner, Carwin, Kongo, Cain, etc and it's going to take years for those guys to develop.

I think the UFC's focal point will remain at LHW, WW and LW for the next few years and it's fine because those divisions are loaded so there's plenty of great matchups we haven't seen yet and there are some sick rematches that can be scheduled (Wanderlei vs Rampage and Penn vs GSP).

That would make the most sense. Some people might not understand why he'd have a press conference to say "I am still with the UFC", but AA's name hasn't been the topic of conversation for a long time. He needs to remind the world he's still around.

I'd love to see him come back, he's won his last 3 fights has he not? I don't see any other competition for Nog after Mir.
