Default Did anybody have Rampage winning the fight.

I was watching the fight last night and was wow'd by the decision . I had The closest score being 3 to 2 judging by rounds and clearly noone ever had a two point round . Was anyone else shocked by the decision .

I had Page winning 1,3, and 4&5 being even. IMO Jackson might have overlooked Forrest a little bit, maybe the fame got to his head? Which you cannot do against someone like Forrest who mentally and physically prepares so well. My opinion might changed tomorrow after I rewatch the fight.

i thought it could have gone either way, but had given a slight advantage to forrest...i can see arguments for both

i had Rampage in the 1st, 3rd and 4th....with the 5th up for grabs. the 46's for Rampage could only mean the judges gave him a 10, 8, 10, 9 and 9....meaning Rampage won 2 of the 5 rounds (10 points) and had 2-9 point rounds in the 3rd, 4th or 5th.....and he obviously lost the 2nd so he deserved the 8 points in that round. griffin did fight a good fight....and i'm not hating on forrest. i was just surprised at Rampage getting 46's. did you see the one judge gave round 1 to griffin 10-9? shock

It's funny that this is still being talked about but oh well, I thought I would give you the opinions of my friends who just watched it on the weekend.

When I watched it live, I gave the decision to Forrest 48-47 (with him having rd2, rd3, r5). After rewatching it 2 times, i was thinking what the hell was I watching in the 3rd round. You can tell that Rampage had the better offense and the better defense. I thought it was a clear Rampage round actually. So in the end I gave it Rampage 48-47... and I still think Rd5 is so bloody close, it could even be a 10-10 but I gave the edge to Forrest.

Thee of my friends wanted to watch the fight and I told them to score each round individually without saying it out aloud.

1st friend - Gave 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th rd to Rampage but gave a 10-8 round to Forrest for the second. 48-46 Rampage.

2nd friend - Gave 1st, 3rd and 4th to Rampage. 2nd and 5th to Forrest but gave the second round 10-8 to Forrest. 47-47 draw.

3rd friend - Gave 1st, 3rd and 4th to Rampage. 2nd to Forrest 10-8 and 5th a 10-10. That's 48-47 Rampage.

It's remarkable that all 4 us scored it differently while watching the same fight. However, none thought that Forrest won... and they thought the 49-46 was the most ridiculous judging ever
