| Question for Pride fans
I did not get to watch much Pride fc Before The ufc Bought it and dismantled it the only stuff i saw was on fox sorts or comcast with trigg and glazer so with that said
I bought The Pride 2003 grand prix 4 disc dvd as well as the bushido 2,3,4,6,7, and 9 at Best Buy Yesterday.
I have some people coming over that watch the these dvd's and has never seen Pride FC before other than what some of there fighters have done in the UFC.
So my question is does anyone have any suggestions on what fights would be good to show?
The 2003 GP is a must as well as fedor vs Goodridge and i got some other ideas but i would like to hear your thoughts.

Your best bet might be to get online and find a recap of the fights to find out what happened

Bushido 7 is the best event considering how much talent was on it, and how much it delivered. Besides one fight they were all amazing, top 5 event of all time IMO
Bushido 9 is the tournament one I believe, it is decent.
I would go with the 2003 tournament, I think I bought the same collectors edition as well. I would choose it because well.... it has Chuck and I am sure your friends that are watching it will know who he is, and they will know that Pride is no joke when he royaly gets his ass beat.
I would show them the whole tournament, it has Cro Cop vs Nog on it too I believe. And if you have time left over for sure show them Bushido 7, it has alot of former UFC fighters on it.

yeah id show the whole gp...then 7 and 9...i think 9 is the shit...it has edwards vs hansen which is a bad ass fight..i think it has pulver vs sakurai too..also a bad ass fight...
id also recomened buying shockwave 04,05 and 06...all dope ass fights...especially 04 and 05...gomi vs sakurai on 05 is so insane...has good fedor fight and good cro cop fights...nog as well...also get highoctaine...its wandy vs rampage 2 which imo its one of the best fights ever in mma with wat imo is the sickest ko ever in mma...
i have tons of pride dvds, i would also recomened getting some of the pride early says box set...good ass deal with some really tight old fights..like hendo vs wandy 1 or hendo vs ninja, or nog vs herring and coleman...really bad ass shit...

^The Pride "Legacy" DVD's are the best deals IMO, I paid 19.99 for them each at HMV and you get 5 whole Pride events. Of course they skip out on the really good events such as Pride 10, 19, etc but it is still worth the purchase. The 5th volume of Legacy comes with Pride's 24-28.
Another must is the box set GP 2000

Thanks For all the great info everyone. I ended up playing whole 03 gp They were shocked to see how chuck was owned by rampage and it wasn't just a one or two punch knockout then i through on bushido #7 (which had some bad ass fights on it). None of them had really heard of gomi or mach. 7 changed all that.
IT Def shocked a couple of friends on how bad ass pride was. I kept telling them Pride had the some of the best shows and by far the best presentation of any org past or present.
I'll be picking up the shockwave and legacy sets thanks to your advice.
Thanks To everyone for helping me out i really appreciated it
