| 5 reasons why fitch has NO CHANCE of beating GSP
1- Fitch doesn't stand out in any aspect of MMA, He's mediocre at everything
2- Fitch hasnt fought other legitimate contenders at 170 (with the exception of alves, which was 2 years ago) he's just simply NOT on the same level as GSP.
3- Fitch's cardio CANT go 5 rounds keeping pace with GSP. Hes never been there before, and he probably wont with GSP
4- How can fitch execute a game plan when he is weaker in every aspect? he's a sub par version of GSP 2-3 years ago. He wont be better then st. pierre at striking, takedowns, takedown defense, in the clinch, ground game, ground defense... can anyone think of where fitch has an advantage over st. pierre? i'd love to hear it
5- I dont like his face. everyone can admit (if not you're only lying to yourself) that theres some people out there that you cant like just because of the way their face is put together. Fitch falls i this catagory for me.

Hasnt fought any decent WW? Where are all the Diego nuthuggers? IMO he dominated Diego. We also know he is not going to be submitted. Look at ANY of his fights. He has been caught in a sub each fight and never has tapped. Its going to be a great fight and dont doubt GSP will bring it to him. Its going to be a tough UD for either fighter.

1- Fitch's wrestling and grappling overall is superior to a lot of fighters in his division and he also has a much better wrestling and jiu-jitsu pedigree than GSP outside of MMA.
2- Saying if he's on the same level is purely up to speculation of the person saying it. Fitch is on the same level because of who he has already beaten. He is undefeated in the UFC for a reason.
3- GSP has never gone over 3 rounds in a fight in his career and was gassed in the 3rd round of his fight with Penn.
4- Fitch has better jiu-jitsu than GSP, period. We haven't seen what GSP can do while on his back getting constant pressure, which is going to happen at least once in this fight.
5- I don't like GSP nuthuggers who can't get a grip on reality. GSP has never defended the belt successfully and got KTFO by a natural unranked lightweight 3 fights ago.

Im calling it right now that Jon Fitch beats GSP by UD. Everything that they say GSP is better at is where the fights not going to go. Its going to the ground and thats where he will dominate.

your premises make for a very weak inductive argument.

I was hoping this was an article, cause I thought to myself "there isn't a poster on this board dumb enough to think this". Well, I was wrong. Good thing this is in Noob Jack, and the spinchter that wrote this will not be murdered for his thoughts.
5 Reason WHy Jon Fitch Has Every Chance to win this fight
1) he is the bigger man. GSP has never fought someone bigger and stronger and him in WW. That ends 8/9.
2) Fitch has been fortunate that he's had nearly a year to prepare for this fight without distraction. He fought a noname but you could see the "just don't get hurt" written all over the performance
3) Cardio, neither fighter may be proned to gassing out, but Fitch usually looks as sharp at the end of 15 minutes ashe was at the end of 15 seconds
4) GSP is a loon. The guy has yet to show anyone the mental toughness to be a champion, until he does he can't be counted on
5) Looking over the shoulder - GSP has BJ penn breathing down his neck (noone wants that) Fitch has Thiago Alves - advantage Fitch
I'm not negging you for this post because its in Noob Jack, but don't you ever bring that GSP nut hugging into the general section. You will walkk funny for weeks if you do.

I agree that GSP is going to beat Fitch but to say Fitch has no chance is ridiculous. He has his black belt in bjj, might be able to neutralize GSP's wrestling, Stand up is the wild card where if he trains that alot he can be better then GSP on the feet. Fitch is probaly going to come in with good cardio but it won't be GSP's. Look for GSP to win by tko in the late 2nd or 3rf round. Quote:
