Just read on Fight Network.com that Lambert has been released from his contract after a few "lackluster" performances with the likes of Jason McDonald amoung others.

Too bad, I've always enjoyed his fights and think that win or lose, he put on a pretty good performace. He's been there forever, but in that deep middleweight division, I suppose he wasn't really achieving much. Best wishes.
