We can agree that the heavyweight division is very small. So there are many fighters who will get a title shot and not deserve it.

What is funny, is that Dana said on the after fight with MMA Live, that he said the divison was Stacked. Don't really know how.
I am sure, after the tourneys clear, that the first contender, will probably be Carwin, or Gonzaga.

Yeah, I think we will see that fight next as well, with the winner going on, to fight the champion at that time.
I want to see a fight between Gonzaga and Lesnar. That would be a huge fight.

both of the guys (lesnar and mir) are getting a title shot because the HW division SUCKS, it has barely any fighters with a big enough name to fight for the title. Note: I didn't say deserve it or have enough skills or experience, the UFC throws out ppl to fight who have a name, LESNAR definitely does.

Fuck me, it's not often I get opinionated on here, but Brock just WON the title from every bodies hero Randy Couture. The same Randy who also got his title shot on his fourth fight, but he never made a living in WWE so that don't matter.
I think Brock would take Mir in a rematch, but would more than likely lose to Nog - but let the guy enjoy being the champ and the guys moaning should get used to seeing Lesnar with the title, because I would but money on him winning it again in the future.
People talk as if MMA is some mystical thing where championship are earned through time and impressive wins - I wish it was, but in the real world it is a business and the way shots are given isn't about to change.
No doubt there will be some Negs coming for me now for supporting Brock.

Mir doesn't deserve a title shot, however he is going to face Nog in a interm-title match, he is then going to lose that fight. For this reason, I don't really care whether he gets the shot or not, as far as I'm concerned he has very little chance of pulling it off.
Lesnar on the other hand, may not have paid the dues everyone would like to have seen him pay but, he won. He didn't Serra win either. This was a legit win in Lesnar's favor. Whether the opportunity for him to be there was justified to some of you or not, he still just earned himself the title last night by decisively beating Randy.
If Lesnar truly doesn't deserve to be the title holder, Nog will correct the situation.
