| What has mir done to deserve a title shot?
all i keep hearing is people complaining about how lesnar hasn't done enough to earn a title shot, but seriously what has mir done? in his last 5 fights he has beaten dan christianson, antoni hardonk, and brock lesnar. and lost to brandon vera and marcio cruz in the first round. seriously guys you can't hate on lesnar for getting a title shot he didn't deserve, but lets not forget that mir is in the same boat

You're right on. Mir had as much right to fight for a belt as Brock which was minimal IMO. The thing is Brock stepped up and silenced the critics, which is more than Mir will do IMO. I still believe Werdum is the one who got screwed in this scenario. Granted he lost, but that was after the fact, he might have taken his opponent lightly.

Well, no one should hate on a fighter for accepting a bout for the title. Be angry at the promotion.. either way, with Werdum out of the immediate picture, there isn't anyone who I would say is the definitive #1 contender. Although, Gonzaga looks to be back on track... I think Kongo vs Gonzaga for #1 contender after the current heavyweight tourny. There is always Carwin, Valasquez, and Dos Santos as well. Lots of pretty decent talent coming up in the HW division. I think the next year will be a better one for UFC when it comes to the heavyweights.

The difference is Mir is a former UFC champ, Brock is a former WWE champ, plus Mir tapped Brock, so wouldn't that make him at least more deserving than your boy Brock?

I'd say that accomplishment is deserving of a shot at Nog, and perhaps Lesnar again, although the latter is doubtful.

Although mir is much more deserving of the shot (at least to me)
The problem is, the UFC isn't putting the fighters again the best fighters, they're putting fights together that will make the most money. fi you don't believe that ask Machida

I don't think he deserves it.. but the puzzles fell in place.. Mir defeated Lesnar in good fashion, proved he was back, not fucking around, so they put him on the Ultimate Fighter as a coach, to fight Nogueira in the finale. Pretty simple.

Exactly. Put aside that how does this fighter get a title shot, this and that.. If a fight is huge, marketing wise, and buisness wise, it is going to happen..
No matter if it's for a title or not.
About the next opponet, I sure and hope it will be Noguira, (Spelling?) He proposes a great threat against Lesnar on the ground, and standing, can take alot of punishment, with him possiby using the clinch, in which he gets trained from Anderson Silva for that..
No matter who he faces, It will be a good fight no matter what.
