So, Let's just assume for a second that Hendo beats Franklin...Silva is claiming that he wants to retire next year, right? So we have Silva vs Hendo in March/April for the title. Would we see the same Silva? Or will Silva give an 'honorble' showing and 'let' Hendo win or would Silva dominate and go out on top?

No, Silva would recognize that Hendo is actually a real title challenger and fight to his full skill. Hendo would still have a chance though

I really don't know how much of a claim Hendo has for the title right now.

I think that Maia or Leites, both fighters who have yet to be given the opportunity of a title shot should be considered before Hendo being that they have both dominated as of late and Hendo will be competing against Franklin at LHW? I really don't know how that'll give him the reasoning power to say he deserves another go at the champ.

Personally, I think Leites/Maia should have a number one contenders fight soon, and Marquardt and Hendo should fight it out after, with the winner of that challenging for the MW title later this year. I think Hendo should prove himself against Nate before he goes against Silva again.

I would do a number one contender title shot between Maia and Leites, with the winner of that fighting Henderson. With that, then we will get a number one contender for the belt.

I wish Cote was back, Silva/Cote 2 needs to happen soon.
