Does Herb Dean still fight? I looked at his Sherdog fighter profile and it says that he last fought on July 14, 2007 losing because of an eye injury (tko) in the first round, maybe that eye injury has something to do with it or does he just want to Ref? just curious

I read some were that if he lost his last fight (which as you see (no pun intended) he did ) he would quit fighting and just ref.

Some of the ref's you know, have been fighters before they did the ref'ing job.

I read a long article on Mario Yamasaki a while back. Apparently he's a 3rd degree black belt and even opened up his own academy in the US.
