Default People who Affliction should add to their roster.

I'm am a whore for fantasy, but I got to looking at the card in January, and the card goes from some amazing superfights and then drops off to where there are some relative unknowns.

As I see it, if Affliction wants to pose itself in a position where it could eventually contend with UFC(if they don't die on the vine as they currently are...) but if they want to draw fans, I think they need to utilize what WCW did when they tried to take on Vince McMahon's WWE, and that involves taking the name stars that WWE had made and attempt to draw fans in based on their name value.

This is the one thing I've always loved about PRIDE, since they always seemed to put together top to bottom cards, with big name, explosive fighters.

I think that there are a lot of names from PRIDE and washouts of UFC who Affliction could pick up and add to this card that wouldn't cost too much dough.

I'm looking at this card and just feel like there are five or six fights that they could replace or add, which when added to a PPV commercial, would AUTOMATICALLY draw alot more PPV buys.

Arona/Babalu- Hands down, a really solid LHW fight and one that involves two talented, explosive fighters. Babalu is a fan fave and I think this fight could be billed as a #1 contender fight to the WAMMA LHW title, to be awarded at the next PPV.

Robbie Lawler vs. Jason Lambert- I think this should be the coming out party for Robbie Lawler as a superstar middleweight and I think that Lawler's explosiveness would be a perfect match for Lambert who always gives a really exciting performance.

David Loiseau vs. Frank Trigg- Two guys who have both main evented UFC PPVS and while a out of the spot light for a while, I think both men have solid fanbases and are both hungry to prove that they still have the goods.

Sokoudjou vs Mike Whitehead-I'd like to see Soko give in a really impressive performance and I hope he shows what I believe he's capable of.

Mark Hunt vs Kazuyuki Fujita- Two of my favourite fighters personally, but I think that this is the type of fight that Afflcition should give away this fight on HDnet and show them a hardcore, knockdown, dragout throwdown and I believe this fight would be a shocking, Frye/Takayama bloodbath.

There are plenty of names who I personally believe Affliction should sweep up in order to bolster their roster and would really like to see them prosper so we can see more MMA Supercards, but I think they have to hype it more like "WE'RE GIVING YOU A SUPERFIGHT ON EACH BOUT!!!" type vibe.

I'm not too positive for Affliction's future, but if they make it, I think they need more stars.

Tito Ortiz would be the biggest get for them, here's hoping.

I'd love to see Affliction succeed and become true competition to the UFC but I don't know if they can afford to keep shelling out for the UFC's castoffs and hope to last longer than a few more shows. They need to be a little more careful about how they shell out their payroll after seeing what they dropped on their first show.
