| Who's next at HW?
The UFC made it pretty clear who they considered the top 4 fighters at HW in the mini-tournament. But after Mir v Lesnar II, who is next in line for a crack at the title?
Cheick Kongo- Aside from a split decision loss to Heath Herring, has put out some pretty impressive stoppages. 4 wins in last 5 fights.
Winner Gonzaga/Carwin- both have 2 straight wins going into this fight, with some pretty nice finishes.
Antoni Hardonk- Has won last 3 fights, but something tells me the UFC isn't considering him just yet.
Cain Velasquez- 4-0 record. Definintely a threat at the HW division, but hasn't fought since last July. A solid performance against Stojic Feb 7th would definitely bring back his hype.

After the affliction card in 12 days, I'm gonna assume its safe to say Andrei Arlovski.

I would like to see Kongo get a shot, if your opinion is the case though, I think Arlovsky and Kongo should fight for the #1 contendership.

I believe the winner of Carwin vs. Gonzaga would be next in line. I hope Carwin wins. Gonzaga be having lapses between when he looks good or scared.

Junior Dos Santos will defeat Kongo. Until Kongo shows some ground game or sprawls he will get over looked.

It should be Carwin, but they are going to let Carwin anywhere near Lesnar until they absolutely have to.

His sprawl is better, his takedowns are better (if you didn't see his fight vs. Herring). You may think he will get over looked but it will not be because of his ground game.

Within the UFC, all they really have after Mir/Lesnar II in terms of legit title contenders are Kongo, Gabe and Big Nog, who I think just had a particularly BAD night.
I like Cain Velasquez alot, but he's just a baby in the division, I think he and Carwin would be a very solid indicator.
dos Santos vs Herring will be a cool fight to gauge the middle of the card.
Personally, I'm thinking that once this whole Lesnar/Mir debacle for the REAL belt, I think that Barnett would be a particularly solid contender to bring in and he does have all of the tools to sufficiently become a bigtime standout star.
Of course, there's also a fella named Fedor, but I Dana White tells me he sucks...
