Mike Tyson is built for MMA(at least in his prime) and David "Tuaman" Tua(you should see his highlight vids on youtube, he's a beast)

Is this a trick question? Mike Tyson???????????? He would only be good for about half the first round and get knocked out............ He would have NO ground game. I was a Tyson fan.....I just don't think he would last a round. I would love to see Floyd Jr. in there....just long enough to get his mouth shut and his arm broken.............................

I think Mayweather would do a lot better than expected. Still however he has the same issue as all the boxers (his style isnt complete). To excel in MMA you have to be well rounded otherwise you just have a punchers chance.

I've been waiting to see if anyone in the world could even challange Pretty Boy Flyod. Boxing is one thing but MMA is a completely different world. I know Mayweather has a background in wrestling and kickboxing (Thanks to his father) but a lot of these guys have been training in MMA for a good part of their lives. I'm gonna put it out there and say I would love to see Mayweather vs Faber. Thats what I'm talking about.

I am a boxing fan. But boxers can't excel at MMA. Boxing is a standup game and the minute they get taken down they get taken out. We saw boxers try it in the early days of the UFC and look what happened to them. Boxers have it easy training the way they do compared to how GSP, Fedor or Anderson Silva have to. MMA is so much more dynamic.

Wrestling, not boxing, is a good solid base from which to start an MMA career. Actually, there are many disciplines I would think of before boxing when discussing transitions to that sport.

I wouldn't mind seeing one of these boxers fight an MMA fight. At least the ones who bad mouth MMA. Floyd Mayweather Jr. used to talk about it. Let's see him against BJ Penn.

That door swings both ways though. Most MMA stars wouldnt last long in boxing. I would give AA, Nate and Nick Diaz, Anderson Silva, Rampage Jackson a chance.

I believe Rampage has decent boxing skills. He would be 6-6. Remember he would fight as a cruiserweight. KJ Noons is pretty good. He has 8-1 record as a boxer.

striking in MMA is different than striking in boxing. gloves, footwork, all the technique that goes into it. i am not going on a limp when i say a good mma-striker could handle a world class-boxer in a mma-ring.
