whats the beef serra has against hughes ?
it seems hes going all out to smash his face even

This is one of those fights that will be good to the casual MMA fan, but will probably end in less than 4 minutes. Both of these guys don't like eachother, so it's going to be a war, But this war, don't expect it to go three rounds.

this fight is going all 3 rounds imho with both fighters kissing and making up at the end.not into this fight at all.

To actually answer your question......

Serra has always been about respect. He feels that Hughes disrespect towards others and Hughes' general lack of niceness is wrong.

Matt Hughes is a dick, and he's proven it time and time again with the way he treats fans, refuses to do certain things, and how he talks down to lower tiered fighters.

Alot of it we saw on TUF. Serra's anger is pointed alot at Hughes for the way he handled the aftermath of defeating Royce. Hughes was proud as a peacock and never made much of an attempt to acknowledge just how influential Gracie was to the sport on a whole, not just UFC.

I think some of it played up, but I think Serra generally hates Hughes, mostly for not being what Serra himself is. I've never heard of Serra being rude to an autograph seeker. Hughes rarely does anything "for the love of the sport", much as Serra does. Serra does alot of things behind the scenes that make him very respected by fighters, promoters, and fans. Whereas Hughes doesn't.
