I cant believe no one has said anything yet on this site, but according to BJPENN.com the fight is signed by both fighters. I cant wait four months for this fight, I know this will be the fight of the summer! Five rounds with Penn and Florian will be entertaining to say the least.
In comparison to other summer fights, I already know Lyoto Machida will beat Evans but that should be another killer fight. Griffin vs Thiago Silva will be entertaining to watch Griffin take a brutal beating. GSP vs Thiago Alves will be an awesome fight too but will only last a couple rounds and I cant see a winner here with two completely different styles. Mike Swick vs Ben Saunders, I know these arent main event names but this fight will be on a main event level for sure!
Penn vs Florian is a fight that i cant see a winner, BJ owns that division and he proved it by killing the very underrated Sean Sherk(who should be the gatekeeper for the division). Everyone should have to beat Sherk to get a title fight, but thats a different topic all together!!!!

I'm quite sure NOT everyone on this board goes to bjpenn.com, I don't, yet I'm a fan of th man. However, theres a few that do go to his site, but its usually only to get BJ's latest blog, and reactions from his hardcore fans just so they can ramble on about it, here. Funny, isn't it?

I've already stated my opinion on this fight at another place, a place that is somewhat 50/50 hate/love BJ Penn, which means not completely biased, and not having "BJ's mom" included in every post. I still don't find anything remotely funny about "BJ's mom." Then again, if my mom was still alive, maybe I would. However, I guess it won't hurt to share my opinions here...

Right now, Kenny Florian has that mental edge. I say that, because he's only thinking of winning the fight, and nothing else. Then theres the physical aspect, he's preparing for this fight with people who now knows how to beat BJ Penn. So in a way, he also has the physical edge. The reason I say this, is because BJ Penn himself has already stated he's taking some time off to spend quality time with family, which I don't hold gainst him, at all. So let's say if the fight took place next month, or the month after, Kenny Florian practically has this fight in the bag. However, the fight doesn't takes place next month or the next. That said, BJ Penn still has time to train once he's done taking time off for family. But even with that, he's behind on the mental edge. If you ask me, before he even starts fight training, he really needs to clear himself of "Greasegate." For me, thats going to be the killer of killers. If he's able to put aside that, then he's back in the game, as pertaining to that mental edge. If he doesn't however, then well, I really can't see him retaining the title. Although, he could use that as burning fuel to completely destroy Kenny Florian. We'll just have to wait and see, I guess.
