Default Would you say Wanderlei Silva lacked killer instinct in his fight against Ace?

I don't know. I watched the fight again and Silva clearly hurt Ace in the 2nd round but couldn't capitalize. Ace didn't do anything impressive to win.. He simply just out pointed Wand in rounds 1 and 3. In no way was Wand hurt by Ace. I really wish in lookin back that Wand would have gone in for the kill a bit more in round 2 is all. Still a good close fight.

I don't think he lacked the instinct I think he just changed the way that he fights. He definitly fought smarter because even hurt Franklin is still dangerous and I am sure that Wandy didn't want to be knocked out and lose all chance of winning.

HOSS-Bork, you should spend more time brushing up on your MMA history, and less time complementing guys on how young their penises taste.

Maybe it had something to do with the weight cut. It wasn't as bad as other guys but he might not have done it healthily...that even a word?

He fought a smart fight but in this entire fight rich did not hurt Silva. Silva clearly hurt Franklin in the 2nd round. if anything, if Silva were to rewatch the fight he should have went for the kill in round 2. Silva fought to conservatively. (Much like his fight with Liddell) Silva needs to implement takedowns and GnP in his gameplans. I think with that he'd be a threat. Still even his loss to Franklin still tells me Silva has something left to offer.

NateHoGG has a little shameless behaviour in the past

Default

He's got a bad mix going for him right now, its just a overload of small things that arent going right for him. between getting knocked out by Rampage, cutting weight to make 190 he's having a hard time maintaining his high tempo striking. Weve seen it with chuck, when a fighter who relies on wider punches gets KTFO his reaction time gets a split second slower now, which doesnt match up with Wandys style
