Fedor is by far the favorite to beat Brock. |
Couture was supposed to beat Lesnar with his mind. Didn't work out too well.

Surprised to see people say Cain because of his wrestling. Brock is a beast of a wrestler and with his size the wrestling ability of Cain would be null and void. Brock does need to be humbled and I am hoping that Carwin can get in and knock Brock stiff.

i really liked what they had to say about overeem i think he has lesser chance of winning than cain, carwin or fedor, but he's got an outside chance if he stays on his feet and if overeem could (and thats a big if) land a knee like mir did it would be nighty night lesnar just my opinion lesnar could beat any of them but fedor has the best chance of anyone but think overeem would be a threat nonetheless.

brock is like 30 pounds heavier than cain, in no way would Cain win
fedor can beat brock, carwin, and coutore. Coutore might have won had brock not grabbed the cage

I love how Brock has beaten Frank Mir now and all of a sudden his is unbeatable.
The guy is very beatable, he is not Machida, not GSP, not Anderson Silva, not Fedor. Those are the guys these articles should be about, because they have proved they are the best in their wieghtclasses. Lesnar has only faced 4 people and one guy was pretty much a sumo wrestler. His best win to date is over a 46 year Randy Couture who took a year off... unbeatable my ass. Fedor, Carwin, Gonzaga, Werdum, Cain, Overeem, Barnett, Big Nog and Couture/Mir in rematches would all have very good chances to beat Brock. Thats not saying they would beat him, they would all just have good chances. You can not say the same about Fedor, GSP, Silva and Machida who are pretty clearly the best in their wieghtclasses with legit challegers coming few and far between.

^^^ I agree with most of your post except for the premature crowning of Machida as the complete cream of the crop in the LHW division. He has not cleaned the division out like GSP and Anderson have. He has a fight coming up with a very game Shogun (if properly training) he has yet to face Rampage hell I would even like to see him face Forest. Until he has faced those guys I will not say he has cleaned out his division.

REALLY?? REALLY? Why whould Kimbo even be mentioned as any competition to these guys? The guy is a proven joke. He couldn't stand with Brock or Carwin for 1 round, let alone go to the ground with either of them.
Kimbo vs Brock = Brock by sumission due to takedown on the dome piece
Kimbo vs Carwin = Carwin by KO, right over the top of the cage
Carwin vs Brock = Carwin by KO when Brock decides to test his standup for 10-20 seconds

I agree, Lesnar is definately overrated.... Mir is overrated... I don't look at Lesnars wins against Couture or Mir very impressive. Couture is old. Mir is just not that good.
The person to beat Lesnar is a dangerous striker with EXCELLENT takedown defense. See the thing about Mir or Lesnar is that their takedown defense is rather weak because they're comfortable on the ground and being taken to the ground. I think Lesnar on top of you on the ground is a dangerous dangerous spot to be in. Sure he can't sub you, but he can definately pepper you enough till the ref calls it. All in all, i don't see Lesnar being able to take down Fedor the way he took down Mir or Couture. I see Fedor keeping it standing. Knocking Lesnar outcold. and hopefully out of MMA as we know it.

I think he can do it, but I want to see it first before we start putting him in the Fedor/GSP/A. Silva/Torres Champion's Club.
