Default For those who think the UFC is the NFL of MMA

I have looked at various different website's rankings among the various weightclasses. The average result of UFC/WEC fighters per top ten are

BW-9

FW-6

LW-5

WW-9

MW-8

LHW-9

HW-5

I would say that Zuffa/UFC have put together what is the most solid talent pool in the world of Mixed Martial Arts. While I agree that they are missing a few great fighters (mostly from Strikeforce with the heavier fighters), it is undeniable that they have the steepest competition across the board

The only thing that I would debate is that, yes, the HW division is not as could as it should be, and in terms of competition, it isn't the ONLY place that Fedor can find it, hence why he signed with Strikeforce

I just thought that I would try to put an end to the comparisons and let the consensus stats speak for themselves

Good post but are you trying to say that UFC is the NFL or not? I think you are but there is no conclusion to your post.

HOSS-Bork, you should spend more time brushing up on your MMA history, and less time complementing guys on how young their penises taste.

I was trying to let people decide for themselves from the facts. I would say that in every division besides heavyweight and lightweight, yes. But the UFC still has a little ways to go until they have ALL of the top talent. I think that by 2014 they will have everybody, but until then there will still be a couple of top talents outside the UFC
