TNA Wrestling world champion Kurt Angle was arrested early this morning for allegedly harassing a female wrestler who had a protective order against him, WPXI in Pittsburgh is reporting.
According to the station, Angle was also in possession of HGH and was driving on a suspended license.
Angle is scheduled to compete in a TNA event in Orlando Sunday night.

I never knew Kurt had chances of fighting in MMA in the first place. Kurt is a talker. He talks big. He poses as a fighter in pictures. He wears a mouth piece now during his fun/fake fighting. He has fake MMA matches in pro-wrestling. He is all talk.
Kurt Angle will never step in an MMA arena with a scheduled fight.

He is old, he has no experience, he has a very very delicate neck, he is not big, yes...he would do great.

If Kurt Angle had chosen to undertake MMA over pro wrestling back around 1998ish, I have ZERO doubt he'd be a world champion given his passion, committment and all in all talent, but he's so damn banged up its ridiculous,but his intensity and legitimate skills cannot be ignored.

But he is a 5 time olympic gold medalist, so had he ever previously put the time in Kurt couldve been one of the best fighters ever with that base.
It's all talk now, but he wouldve come into MMA as the most highly decorated fighter just about ever.

There's no denying that he's one of the more physically/athletically talented professional wrestlers of all times, and an amazing greco roman wrestler...I mean you don't win a gold medal in the Olympics if you're not...however, none of that necessarily means he'd have been comparatively successful in the MMA world. I personally think that if he'd gotten serious about it either right after the Olympics, or after a few years in the pro wrestling scene, then he could have had been a legitimate force in mixed martial arts, but at this point, it's never going to happen. He kind of seems like a bit of a douche too for that matter...

Angle is just to old and injured to compete and train in MMA now. Had this been 10 years ago. He would have been an amazing athlete in MMA I think.
