Bret is just fine you guys shouldnt shit on him. You have all seen Fedor fight right ? Imagine now that u are a up and coming MMA fighter and someone tells you that you are fighting Fedor next. Imagine that just when ur carier started and u got famous, they are sending you to an early retirement cause lets face it, Fedor kills cariers. I think that anyone thats fighting Fedor should be alowed to say whatever they want as their last words  We should all pray for Brett. Give the big guy a hug you guys, this is his last fight...

Brett Rogers is an idiot when he talks about Fedor and being an MMA God.
But he is correct when he talks about Brock, his lack of fights, his size smothering, & his ground and pound.

But I do think a lot of people rank fighters who win one big fight by simply replacing the guy they beat with them. It's a very new-to-combat-sports idea, and the current HW situation in the UFC plays into it pretty strongly. Quote:

Relax, this is all part of the show. This is just another tactic that organizations use to draw attention to an upcoming fight. Rogers understands his odd are nothing more than a punchers chance. But, he needs to do his part to build up the fight. Fedor is not going to run his mouth. StrikeForce cannot just rely on Fedors name to draw ratings outside of real mma fans. You need controversy, hatred and the thought of the unbelievable happening to really make people want to see.

Honestly, voting against fedor any time is just plain stupid. But, as some of you have pointed out....strange shit has happened in the past. All it takes is one accidental eye poke or cut or an Overeem to the nuts and the tide of a fight can change dramatically. Honestly, its a fight and in a fight there is always a winner and a loser. Many people will count Brett out, but its not you can doubt that the man has no fear. I sure as shit know I wouldn't wanna step in the ring with AA. And he didn't sit back and run, he put his fist straight up his nose. Fedor will most likely win by a technical mistake by Brett on the ground. The ground is where Fedor will have so much of an advantage, he knows this, therefore it will happen. I see an armbar, early 2nd round.

Of course he should not say "I will lose", but "I will KO Fedor and I will be the god of MMA" is extremely stupid.
The man is 30-1-1 (actually it is 30-0-2), he have won against top strikers, top BJJ champions, and now this bum with a 10-0 record (9 of those 10 oponnets were cans) says that he will be god of MMA and will KO Fedor.
