Nothing really cocky in there, he seemed pretty straightforward.
I'd like to see the fight, I think Mir would get smashed though. Much too slow on his feet, and like he said he doesn't have the wrestling advantage that would let him control Silva. |
And even that comment is bs because Silva is also a blackbelt in bjj. A lot of people seem to understimate his ground game due to him being so good at standup. When Dan Henderson took him down he couldnt do anything with him. Both Nate and Henderson are going to sleep (again)

With a few fights left on his contract why would he want to waste those fights in rematches? I would rather see him at lhw fighting Shogun/Page.

I chuckled at Frank's assessment of how the fight would go if it went to the ground. Ever since the Nogueira fight, I've felt that people gave Frank way too much credit and Frank bought into this too. I have no problem with a fighter being confident, or even cocky as long as what they're saying is likely, but I'm not convinced that Frank even wins this one on the ground. Frank is a talented fighter and I usually like him because he speaks his mind, I think his statement would have been much better off without the last sentence.

Ugh, I really hate this guy. He talked out of his ass all the time. He is delusional now, and just ignorant.
Silva would actually KTFO him worse that Forrest.
