| Brock not so sick? Quote:
Despite reports that UFC heavyweight champ Brock Lesnar had fallen so ill that he couldn’t properly prepare for his UFC 106 title defense against Shane Carwin, it appears the former WWE superstar was well enough to make a cameo at the Minnesota Vikings football game on October 18th.
Lesnar, a Minnesota native and ”former” Vikings player, not only appeared fit and healthy as he and his family watched the Vikes take a 33-31 victory over the Baltimore Ravens inside the Metrodome in Minneapolis, MN, but he was strong enough to give their ginormous pre-game horn a powerful toot as well.
“It’s great. I have finally found who I am and what I stand for. It’s a great career for me,” an upbeat Lesnar told Vikings Weekly.
UFC president Dana White stunned the MMA world yesterday when he revealed that Lesnar had become extremely sick from a flu virus that had kept him bedridden for three-and-a-half weeks. A disappointed White informed fans that his heavyweight champ would no longer headline UFC 106 on November 21st.
“He said he’s never been this sick in his life,” White told Yahoo! Sports. “He said it’s been going on for a long time and he just hasn’t been able to shake it.”
It was heavily rumored that Lesnar had contracted the H1N1 virus (Swine Flu), however the champ’s co-manager, Brian Stegeman, states that his client had upper respiratory issues, fever, and extreme fatigue.
Although those are all symptoms of the Swine Flu, Stegeman said they were not able to confirm that is what Lesnar had and he is beyond the stage at which he could be tested for the virus.
“Honestly, he’s been sick since the beginning of this camp and he’s had to take days off throughout,” Stegeman told the website. “We kept thinking that he’d get better and be back at it, but it finally got to a point here where we were looking at a situation where Brock would have just two weeks to train for this fight. That’s just not fair to him.”
In case you were wondering, the Vikings are traveling to Green Bay this weekend.

Sorry, I don't know how to post videos. And only Brock knows how he feels. I know this is just stirring the perverbial pot, but I thought it would be, at least, a bit interesting.

Dude You can feel better. If he was sick during his training camp he couldn't train what the fuck is he suppose to do stay sick forever. Missing 3 weeks of his camp is a big deal. Going to a game is different than training with 300 lb guys

As far as I can tell, Brock's never ducked anyone. He was fighting the elite in the game almost immediately. There's no reason to question his commitment or heart.
