| who do you guys think was the best wrestler to ever fight in mma
who do you guys think was the best wrestler to ever fight in mma as far as wrestling goes not in mma here are some names mark kerr,coleman,randleman,waterman,barnett,lesnar,hen derson,couture,kos,hughes,severn,askren,cormier,la wal,sherk i know there are a lot more i heard there was u guy from egypt that toyed with everybody in the olympics but got koed his mma debut and quit dont remember his name though but just wanted your opinion on your top 3 or 5 wrestlers of all time in a wrestling match or how dominant they were while wrestling like they record or credentials /championships thanks guys

The name that springs to mind is Dan Severn.
Admittedly he was around when MMA was still in it's infant years, but he dominated very well with his wrestling, and had at least some submissions in his arsenal too

I'd say Matt Hughes is up there in terms of using his wrestling to become dominant. Same with Coleman

AS FAR AS MMA wrestling im goin gsp
the way he was able to beat all of hughes trig kos bj and fitch in the wretsling gnp and stuffing shots says it all

lindland set himself apart a bit and effectively used his wrestling in mma to by a top-ranked MW. i don't think he was every the pure fighter that henderson turned out to be, but he still left a legacy.
coleman has to get a mention. he was an olympian, and used a very effective (albeit one-dimensional) style to much success early in his career. funny enough, there was a time when he was considered the p4p best in the world.
