Former UFC light heavyweight champion Chuck Liddell has begun training at Eddie Bravo’s 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu ahead of his upcoming appearance as a coach on The Ultimate Fighter 11 and following matchup with opposing coach and fellow former title-holder Tito Ortiz.

“Chuck Liddell officially joins the 10th Planet family.Einstein&I will do r best 2 turn him into a jiu jitsu master,” Bravo wrote on Twitter earlier this week.

After winning the title in 2005 and defending it four times, Liddell has dropped four of his past five bouts, including back-to-back losses to Rashad Evans in 2008 and Mauricio “Shogun” Rua in 2009.

Though “The Iceman” still prepares primarily with his long-time trainer John Hackleman at The Pit, Liddell added training at American Top Team to his regimen ahead of his April loss to “Shogun” and has now begun training at 10th Planet following his brief retirement (and appearance on Dancing with the Stars).

OK i may sound like a chick but does the picture make Eddie look fat or is it just me

Why would chuck be workin his BJJ... all I can think of is that he's lost a step and figures tito may be able to take him down nowadays n he's worried about the GNP

I say he don't live by the you cant teach an old dog new tricks rule.
there is nothing wrong with not wanting to be a one trick pony for the 3rd fight
make Tito think in the back of his mind is chuck going for a gogoplata

It's good to see Chuck widening his game, it may be a little late, but it will still keep him in great shape and make him a little bit more dangerous.

It's looks like he has a damn pumpkin for a head in that pic. Like someone photo chopped Eddie's head to make it just a bit to large.
