has anybody viewed the mmanews facebook page lately? there seems to be a lot of what i call "tapout" fans posting shit on there. whats up with that? i feel like most of the people here are pretty knowledgeable.
here are a few that made me laugh

I only saw the one where the dude said liddell won haha, i feel like if I went there and read what they were saying I would try and decipher which one of you guys it actually was.

What a bunch of tools, I understand what you mean IceCold48, calling them 'tapout fans'. There are so many people (especially here in the UK) that have watched the 10second clip on youtube of Lesnar knocking Heath Herring tumbling backwards and think he's all of a sudden the best MMA fighter of all time. Then they pop down to their local Mall and kit themselves out in Tapout tee's and hats and think their friends will respect them more for it. Oh dear.

Its really embarrasing how in such a great sport there are too many stupid fans.
I think that for every smart fan there are like 25 idiots.

Like they may like particular fighters because they have great stand-up, and can make for exciting fights, and they can appreciate that their stand-up skills are great. Because of this, they then assume that boxing/stand-up fighters are superior to ground specialists, just because ground-spec's don't always end fights in the same amazing fashion. Then, when they get a bit more knowledge about how the ground-game works, they start to truly appreciate the sport, and become real, educated fans.
