New MMA forum

Hey guys i just set up a new forum, the main reason i have done so is cos i hate it when this forum always decides to die during a big event, and also because its part of my new site.

The goal is to hopefully alleviate pressure on this site by having an alternative forum to post on, maybe that way this site wont die during 118 (fingers crossed)

Basically it sucks big time when the site goes down during an event and i understand that whoever runs this site probably cant source a big enough server to withstand the massive pressure that comes with a big mma event. So i have decided to provide an alternative.

Im only inviting you guys here on news cos ive seen the sherdog forums(not a good place). Hopefully you will hop on board and contribute to make my forum as informative and fun as this one.

I will also be handing out a select few moderator accounts so mail me @ mmareelrob@gmail.com for details. The forum is literally only just set up so its scant on material, il need help with that part haha.

Thing is, it's tough to get contributors to a competing forum that everyone already goes to. Why would the same group of people go to two different places just to post the same opinions on the same subjects? See what I mean?

Anyways, I hope it works for you, but I wouldn't hang my hat on just getting people from here to go over there, too.

I go to multiple forums to post but that's just to get a different perspective on matters from a wide variety of people. Plus there is times where certain forums have slower activity then others.

This, and also because this site goes down completely during heavy traffic(as i already mentioned)

Oh and im not really just wanting the people from this forum, but i have to start somewhere and this is the only forum where i think the members arent straight up retards

I've seen it happen before with different forums.

Admittedly, the worldwide MMA community is much larger, so it can likely support another forum. The other ones that I've seen are more locally targeted.
