UFC Expands Global Footprint by Partnering with Fox Sports Latin America

UFC fans in South America now have the opportunity to watch all the action in the Octagon live en Espanol, including Saturday’s “UFC 119: MIR vs. CRO COP” event. The world’s premier mixed martial arts promotion announced today they have inked a new television deal with Fox Sports Latin America, the most widely distributed Spanish-language pay television sports network.

“South America is a huge market for the UFC,” Octagon president Dana White stated. “We look forward to working with Fox Sports Latin America to bring UFC events to fight fans all across the region.”

In addition to airing live UFC pay-per-view events, Fox Sports will also feature UFC Guerreros, a Spanish-language compilation show featuring fight highlights, as well as UFC Countdown, a program that showcases featured bouts while telling fighter back stories. UFC Countdown runs the week leading up to a major UFC event.

Fox Sports Latin America is a cable television network dedicated to broadcasting sports programming 24 hours a day, reaching Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru Paraguay, Bolivia and Urugay.
