|  Why does mma news lag on the mma news?!?!?!
I don't know what's going on but shit I'm sick of coming on this site in hopes of some fresh news yet it's the same site appointed thread for weeks sometimes!! Anyone else notice?! I hate it! Even when there's tons of stuff going on in the mma world there will be the same thread atop the list from weeks before. For instance at the moment the stupid karo Parisian talks about using his judo in fights is still up on top. That's not even interesting!! I go on middleeasy and other sites they have fresh news EVERYDAY. The only thing that ever gets updated on here is the user threads filled with info that members get from OTHER mma sites!! I didn't know you could have a news site and just use other sites that should be your competitor to get all your info. Imagine if your evening news relies on another channel for all there info, except they will run a story from 2 weeks ago everyday. It's getting really annoying and I wonder why not just go constantly to the other pages that change info daily? Sorry for complaining but I'm just making this in hopes we could change this. Do you need another mod because I'll find news and post it daily in the site forum section if need be.

Essentially what I've noticed is that this site relies on it's posters to post the news and the news gets posted to the main site if deemed worthy what ever that means. The poster do most of the work and the site gets payed for it.

Most of us generally get our news from other sites and just come here to discuss it. The news portion of this site is virtually worthless, though the forum is miles above Sherdog and the UG. But as far as stealing other competitors work this site is still not as bad as Bloody Elbow. I mean seriously, have they ever broke a story? All of their topics are someone elses coverage, why the latest UFC sold no tickets, or a bio on a fighter. Kid Nate, Luke Thomas, and Snowden are all MMA journalist wannabes and nothing more than fucking hacks. Kid Nate is like almost forty by the way and he is still going by that lame ass nickname.

The OT, Kick boxing boxing and multimedia are far behind Sherdog similar forums.

I am pretty glad we don't rely on what is posted on the main site, as many of the articles are shit-stained with bias for their flavor of the month fighter, Boone in particular.

As someone stated earlier, in the forum section, we rely on our members to post news articles to be discussed. If you feel like something is missing, by all means, please post it.
