There is a difference between keeping a reality-based perspective and hating on him. The issue is that most fans immediately bristle at any criticism--however valid--and dismiss it as hate.

Excellent read for sure. That being said, I honestly feel that the hate does more good than bad. Call me a psychothic lunatic that's been drinking way too much pineapple juice spiked with battery acid, and I won't mind that at all. Look at it this way, if it wasn't for any and all hate, Brock Lesnar wouldn't be the biggest draw in not just the UFC, but in all of MMA. End of.

I can understand people not liking Brocks television persona, he knows how to play the heel to a T. For the record though, he was very respectful to the opponents that were respectful to him. Mir ran his mouth way to much and Herring is a douchebag to begin with so those two I understand. Brock didn't trash talk Cain, Couture or Carwin during their respective bouts.
As for Jadedx's comment, your right, any press is good press if it brings in money and that's one thing that Brock does that no one can deny

The fight itself is a tough call for me, and with me being a fan of both fighters, it's really hard for me to root for one over the other. I'm just hoping for a very competitive & entertaining fight.

I'm just hoping for a very competitive & entertaining fight. | It's also a very tough call for me. I'm not a Brock fan but inside the octagon he has a very unique combination of skills, training and physical gifts. This isn't a fight where you can look at the complexities of each fighter and try to figure it out. It simply comes down to Brock's GNP versus Dos Santos' hands. Might as well flip a coin.

the fight itself all comes down to jds takedown defense and ground game from the bottom should he not have any takedown defense
