ok thought number 1
chuck liddell is a very beloved all time great in mma history. in fact id say if fedor is the babe ruth of mma then liddell is the micky mantle. my question tho is does anyone else in history past or present use there wrestling ablity better in reverse then him because i belive it was his good solid wrestling base that helped him devlop into such a great striker.

who do you all belive is the top most storied champ in the history of the ufc not all of mma just the ufc mine would be matt hughes i know there will be alot of people who disagree with my choice.
matt hughes the man had 7 title defenses and would have had 8 if joe riggs made weight and most of the men he beat during his reign as champ were very good well rounded well respected guys.
carlos newton was a very good bjj fighter who held a win over before the fight pat miletch,
hayato sakuri who holds wins over many well respected fighters in the mma world.
gil castillo who was 6-1 before the hughes fight and beat future mw contender nate the great marquart
sean sherk who doesnt lose hardly ever infact for his career he has won 87% of his fights.
