Rachad Evan's coach Trevor Wittman told Sherdog Radio he believes Rachad should fight his team mate Jon Jones if he takes the title from Shogun.

"Mentally, I know it’s a little rough for [Evans] to see one of the guys he made a pact with to not fight go out there and take his position… I had the conversation with Rashad that I felt Rashad should fight Jon Jones if he wins," he told Sherdog.

"I feel Jon Jones could have been like, ‘Hey man, I’ll tell you what. I’m going to take another fight. And let Rashad… he’s not at the beginning of his career. He’s at the peak and the tail end of it. Let him go fight for it."

Evans and Jones have both said in the past that they will not fight each other. Since Jones stepped into the title shot position, Evans has also said he will look at moving up or down in weight should Jones win. For his part, Jones sees himself as something of an Evans protégé and does not want to fight him.

Well not many other options for Rachad, he has "boys" in each weight class so eventually there is going to have to be some Team Jackson on Team Jackson violence.
