anyone think now that he seems to show up to the fights better trained and on a roll the ufc will look into resigning him? if so you think he could be a legit threat at 155

I still think he needs more fights outside the octagon before he gets an invite back. 3 of his last 4 fights were all in that one night at that Shine Grand Prix.

I hope that the MFC lets him fight McKee (when he is all healed up) and if he were to beat McKee inside 3 rounds, then maybe.

If the UFC was serious about signing Veach before he faced Fickett like the Voice and Trigg insinuated, then for sure Fickett should be back, but I don't know if they were that close to inviting Veach back.

I would say that if Fickett stays off the sauce, and stays professional and keeps winning, then after 2-3 more wins outside the UFC, they might invite him back.

I hope he didn't burn any bridges with the UFC. He did go 4-2 in the UFC and he left after a win. Not sure if the UFC kicked him out why they let him go.

I personally think that McKee and Fickett both have what it takes to be in the UFC, but I expect only one of them to be hired by the UFC in the next 8 months (and hopefully get to stay in the UFC for more than 1 fight)

I have no doubt in my mind that Drew Fickett is a far better in-ring fighter than ALOT of LWs under the ZUFFA banner....however, alot of those LWs under contract are probably far more reliable and don't bring with them anywhere near the issues that Fickett does and if there's one thing ZUFFA doesn't like, it's headaches.

If he picks up wins over say an Aurielio, McKee or Healy, I think he can make an argument for getting back in with the UFC, however the better money and fights may be with Strikeforce.
