Just wondering your opinion, we see stars like wand,nog, fedor and many others losing there ability to fight like they used too. So what's the biggest factor pertaining to age? Is it all physical? Losing the will and the heart? Becoming over concious of health issues? For example does a guy who is getting older for the sport that has a ton of experience do better then a guy who has trained mma for a lifetime but with less pro experience? Or vice versa? Or maybe just the fight game has exploded so tremendously that training regiments and availability of world class training for the up and comers is more abundant? What are your guys' thoughts on the matter?

I was thinking the same but does that mean an older guy with less experience has an advantage in resilence then a same ge fighter with more fights?

yes it also matters on how long they were in the sport, of course everybody is different. but wand wasnt that old when he started to decline and cant take as much of a punch anymore, randy actually got into mma later than most. things like speed and coordination will go away over time. IMO hendo is by far the best 40 year old fighter out there, he would destroy randy. He is a better wrestler and would absolutely ktfo him standing.
