Default What happened to Phillip Miller?

Phillip Miller - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This guy retired undefeated, has a win over Jake Shields in 2000. Anyone know the story on him, why did he retire?

Yeah, I actually had a buddy ask me about him since he had the pleasure of training with him a few months ago and I found this story about him

Phillip Miller: Where are they now?

Ya, he probably could have made more noise in the sport. But he has been out just over 8 years now, a little late to wonder what hes doin.

Never too late to wonder. I'm always wondering what happened to people. People I used to know, people that used to be on tv, people that used to fight. Why is it too late? I don't work for UFC, I'm not trying to sign anyone lol, I'm just curious about current and past fighters in the sport that I love, the only sport that I even like.

I think this guy has an interesting story, and for him to just walk away without a loss and having fought some legit competition, makes him especially interesting to me.

I think it's just the kind of person I am, I don't just have to know what happened, I like to know why. Character motivation if you will.

@kidinside, thanks for the link, @sakara, thanks for the rep!
