I certainly have to disagree with Story being ranked higher than Condit.

I do not see how Werdum can be ranked higher then JDS. I know Werdum beat Fedor, but it wasn't all that long ago that JDS put him to sleep. If Werdum beats Overeem (which I think he will) then yes I can an arguement for him over JDS. But right now, nope.

Agree'd. Im not trying to use MMA math, but results. And JDS beat Werdum badly. I personally think JDS could/would beat him again but thats all irrelevant. But I think Overeem is going to beat him and bring Werdum down a bit.

If I really wanted to im sure I could find some major flaws, but TBH their pretty good in my books. Ive always considered MMAweeklys one of the best rankings out there.

I agree with results over MMA Math and for rankings I like to reward guys who beat Top level fighter. Which is why if Werdum beats Overeem, I would rank him number 2. It would be 3 straight wins over Top 10 HWs (Silva, Fedor and then Overeem) and Fedor was ranked number 1 at the time. If Werdum wins the whole tourny and I think he should be considered the favorite right now, it would be easy to argue he is the best HW in the world even with the loss to JDS.

I think a focused Werdum would be trouble for JDS. Not to take anything away from JDS and his victory, but we can all agree Werdum was not at all focused for that fight. In a rematch I would still pick JDS at the moment but would not be at all shocked to see Werdum beat him.
