Reliable sources are reporting today that the UFC is in talks with Jake Ellenberger and Diego Sanchez regarding a potential fight at UFC 141 in December.
This rumour is still trying to be confirmed.
Ellenberger recently broke into the welterweight division top 5 with his huge KO win over former number 1 contender Jake Shields a little over a week ago. The knockout was Ellenberger's 5th win in a row since dropping his octagon debut to current top contender Carlos Condit.
Diego Sanchez was recently scheduled to face Matt Hughes at UFC 135 but had to drop out due to an undisclosed injury. The octagon veteran, Sanchez, is 2-1 since returning to the welterweight division, recently defeating both Martin Kampmann and Paulo Thiago via unanimous decision. UFC 141: Lesnar vs. Overeem is set to take place on December 30, 2011 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada and will close out another spectacular year of UFC pay per view action.

Hope this one goes down. This card definitely needs some more firepower, and this would be a great way to get it going.
As much as I dislike Sanchez, he's always entertaining and shows alot of heart. Jake has shown some awesome abilities. I predict Jake takes it by 2nd round doctor stoppage...but you can never count Sanchez out.
