You know, I can’t help but feel like I’ve seen this happen before.

While you were busy watching UFC 141, Kimbo Slice looked to improve his professional boxing record to 3-0 at the Buffalo Run Casino in Miami, Oklahoma. So far in his boxing career, the Shaws have been feeding Kimbo cans with losing records, and Kimbo has been capitalizing in devastating fashion. Friday night, however, Kimbo Slice was given his toughest test in his young boxing career in Charles Hackmann, a fitness instructor making his professional boxing debut after taking the bout on just one day’s notice.

It’s almost like the guy was brought in to lose (snickers), yet he held his own against the former UFC fighter (sigh), almost pulling off the upset in the second round. The action wasn’t as fast-paced as Cruz vs. Johnson, yet you wouldn’t know it by how badly both fighters gassed in the third and fourth rounds. When it was all said and done, Kimbo improved to 3-0, yet had major holes in his game exposed.

Isn't boxing built off padded records?

It was a really bad fight, he could have fought in MMA and beat up some cans too, don't really understand why he moved to boxing.

I watched the fight and in the second round the fitness instructor was owning him.
Kimbo was all gassed just as in his MMA fights.

The day he fights a decent boxer, the day he will lose.

His boxing career right now looks exactly like when his MMA career began. At the beginning he was beating pretty easily his opponents, then he had troubles but still won, and then finally he got owned and was defeated.
Who knows? Maybe in his next or 2 next fights he will lose.

Ok, now let's hear Harlem and Roaddawg defend him.

BTW this thread should be either in Noobjack or in boxing forum.

because he doesn't have to worry about getting taken down and made a fool of.

although I'm sure it's only a matter of time before he's made a fool of by being on his feet.

This article is total B U L L S H I T

I'm no Kimbo supporter, but Charles Hackmann is a HIT Squad fighter and has been training since prior to 2007.

Fuck you Cage Potato you pieces of jounalistic excrement.

Ummm this is how boxers always start. You never ever feed a new boxer to the wolves. Even guys like Manny and Mayweather fought a lot of cans early in their careers. Kimbo is not going to be all star boxer or ever fight for a title but he is doing nothing different then every single boxer that entered the ring before him.
