Never got the whole hunting thing. But as long as they don't kill it and leave it to rot I don't have a problem. Not exactly sure if people eat bobcats.

I grew up hunting so I never really understood the big deal some people make. If you have license and a registered gun and follow all the laws then who cares if you are hunting bobcats or deer? I am sure a guy like Matt Hughes would follow all the laws too. And Kevo you can eat bobcat and people do.

Finally hunting needs to happen to keep animal populations under control whether for food or sport.

Yea I'm not against hunting, some of my best friends are avid hunters. Just not my think I guess. Course I've never done it either.

Agree'd. As long as you eat it I have no quarrels with hunting or hunters. Or, like you said, to keep animal populations down.

p.s. I cant wait till I go boar hunting!

Some animals you eat some not, and I'd put cat in the not so much. For wild life to live healthy they need to be in balance. so if you hunt birds and cats eat birds too you need to keep the cat population in check. or mother nature is very cruel when it does it.

Totally agree with those that say hunting is not their bag and don't do it, but let those who love it to do it.

I agree with all of this. Just like coyotes. Could you eat a coyote? Yes. Would you eat a coyote? No, probably not unless you were starving. You have to keep the coyote population in check to have healthy populations of animals you do want to eat.

I love hunting. It is in my blood. I come from seven generations of people who lived on the same land farming. They all hunted for food and sport.

I will always hunt. If they outlaw guns I will use a bow, if they outlaw a bow I will use a spear, if they outlaw hunting then I will stay an outlaw. It is in my blood.
