Anyway, I don't think Nick's corner did a good job. They never had a solid plan going. Nick also apparently didn't listen to how many times they told him to cut Condit off, but then again, they also told him to let Condit come to him. Nate probably really thought Nick won that fight but he should have been pressing Nick harder to make something dramatic to happen.
I think Nick should have tried to get a hold of Condit and do what he could to keep a hold of him and get it to the ground. I think if he had been successful in taking Condit down at the beginning of the 5th round, he could have found a submission.
