The Diaz Brothers twitter account posted the message above in regards to the proposed rematch between Nick Diaz and Carlos Condit that quickly got nixed earlier this week when it was released that Nick Diaz failed his drug test.

At first the Condit camp didn’t want the fight, but suddenly they changed their mind, just two days later it was revealed that Nick is going on suspension for the failed test.

Fact is that Diaz tested positive and the rematch will not happen.
If Condit wanted or not a rematch is insignificant at this point.

Well it does not have any real relevance but instead just the Diaz camp trying to discredit Condit a bit. It would kind of be a douche move to accept the rematch and let the media know IF they did know Diaz couldnt fight (due to his own actions --- again, due to his own actions ---- dont freak out Diaz Haters!)

I just asked DW and he said Carlos accepted the rematch BEFORE anyone knew about the failed drug test.
