Major story breaking in Atlanta. Anderson Silva has told Dana White he NOT fight Chael Sonnen unless it's in Brazil.

Uncle Dana is beyond frustrated with Anderson. Let's see if he can convince Anderson to fight in Vegas. Dana playing hardball

UFC147 presser in Rio on 4 Tues. Anderson will be present. Dana will announce date change to Vegas. Dana will fire AS if he declines fight

Should Anderson be fired, Sonnen v. @Bisping II is the back up plan for July 7 for the belt
Wow...

Is this a credible source?

kingrobert 04-20-2012 07:13 PM

It sounds like something Anderson would do..

Wow, I don't know about fired, but definitely stripped of the title. The job of a champ is to fight whoever is put infront of you, when and where you're told to. Plain and simple.

He's usually pretty credible...

You tell me... His last predictions about M1 have yet to come to fruition: http://www.mmanews.com/forums/noob-j...-m-1-done.html

Don't know the legitimacy, but I love to speculate so here goes. This would be a big move if it were true. It takes a lot of balls for Dana White to fire Anderson Silva, especially because in my mind it would delegitimize the middleweight title, everyone would know that AS is the best. That being said, now is the best time to do a move like this because there's no place for Anderson to go, there's no other really big market.

I have to think that Anderson stands to lose a handsome sum of endorsement $$$ if this fight moves from Brazil to America. Yes, Anderson is a diva, but I can understand why he'd be reluctant to relocate.

I wouldnt put much pass on anything Front Row Brian says, he's like the Perez Hilton of mma

macewen 04-20-2012 07:32 PM

If its true I'll lose a lot of respect for Anderson
